Dean Olafsen family Visit

Today it was our pleasure at The Shed to welcome Gerda Olafsen

And her daughter Nikita .

Nikita from Adelaide was visiting Ipswich and saw an opportunity to come to the shed to admire and see the wonderful legacy her recently departed Father Dean Olafsen had established.

The 52 Members present welcomed the ladies and President Brian welcomed and thanked them for their visit.

A memorial plaque and area was set aside to honour Dean and completed by our youngest member Michael.

Ted and Past President Terry showed the ladies around and they were thrilled and happy with the success of the Shed.

Gerda thanked the Shed and Members for the love and care they showed Dean during his last few months and for the shed’s generosity and support at Deans Funeral participating in a guard of

Honour at the service.
